A familiar place but never entered
So I'm sure people have heard of this but I've been doing a lot of research with online videos on it. It's called reading at a coffee shop. I've been successful for the past few months and consistent with affording it. I always thought the money would add up to being too costly and the location was probably too noisy. Well, I thought I'd make a genuine effort. I heard some of the best places to try were the cafes that specialize in lattes with espresso machines. I ordered an americano which at cafes seem to range between $3.50 -$2.75. I had a nice chocolate banana loaf slice for about $3.25 which seems to be the pricing for most baked goods. Everything with tax was about $8.00. I had a couple of reads on me and I wondered what the best one to read might be. Well, the place was heavily filled with busy people but everyone seemed to make light conversation over music and the sounds of the espresso machine going off. The noises were nowhere near as loud or distracting as a McDonald's with a play place having kids play all over the main seating area. The music was subtle and I felt like reading an ebook on my kobo. I sat down at a table and pulled out my e-reader. While I was reading the coffee was finished being made and I went to go pick it up at the counter with my loaf. I continued reading again while taking a sip of my coffee which proved to be a soothing getaway from the busling movements of family issues and relationship ties I had at the home. Reading went on for about 15 min and the coffee was finished after about a half hour. I felt so refreshed. What a world of difference from some areas in a mall or Fast food joint, these can be nice, but I had a relaxing time at the Cafe and it wasn't too expensive.
