A trip to an interesting place
I noticed recently that every so often, whether it's on the news or in photography, sitting in the park with a newspaper is practically an iconic symbolic practice when it comes to enjoying your local city environment. I thought to myself that might be an inexpensive trip that I've never technically tried before. Last summer I picked up a $12.00 best-selling book at the book section of the pharmacy. The book was a mystery/ thriller and I brought it with me to a local urban park during the afternoon. I brought a $3.00 vitamin water with me. I sat on a bench underneath an old acorn tree. I thought the park was nice considering the people who were present in it. There were people like your everyday person walking their small dog or an older person playing soccer on the field with someone much younger. This was all something I'd seen before but this time I pulled out my book and began to read. Compared to reading in my room just before bed, reading at the park was very calming considering the surroundings like the tall trees overhead or the well-cut field around me. I would have thought there might have been disturbances like families running around with children, but the park was rather large and I was having a relaxing time just reading to the wind blowing through the tree's leaves I figured park surroundings can be a great compliment to a book.
