Reading with an atmosphere of higher achievement
I thought to myself I would visit a college or university campus just because I found out actually that even if you are not a student you are welcome to walk the halls and visit certain locations. One of the locations in a university or college campus I noticed you were welcome in was the library. Yes, they said I couldn't sign into the wifi and they also said I couldn't take out a book without paying for a membership but what they also said is that a coffee or water bottle was allowed and so was bringing in your book to read. I talked to the librarian and she said you were more than welcome to stay as long as you like. I then planned to visit the campus considering that if the halls weren't prestigious and looming with architecture that would be very inspiring, and the work ethic and atmosphere would be good. I have to say when I pulled out my book in the library, whether it was students, professors, or working people it was a very focused and productive environment. I noticed there weren't as many families carrying kids into the kid section to play with toys as in your average city library. Also wherever there was a desk to read and a person was there large notes and probably a hard focus on a computer screen was there. There was no noise other than the gentle typing on the computer. I drank my coffee at the college desk and continued reading. I had ordered it from a coffee shop to go, it was just a regular three-cream three three-sugar kind of drink. When I had finished reading, after about 15 minutes of drinking just a medium coffee, I felt like I had a great time reading in an environment where there was so much focus on tasks. I had thoroughly had an experience to take in and enjoy my book.
