Enjoying a pleasent and enriching environment while taking care of tasks

I’ve recently been enjoying time at public parks recreationally and for walks and I thought after such a pleasant experience maybe I could include some time working on things there as well. I prepared the night before to pack a few notebooks I had collected from the dollarstore and pharmacy ranging for a price around $3.50 – $8.00 with pens and a pencil case ranging in around the same price as well. I had to work on a to do list and also read an educational book on something I was trying to learn so I packed a couple agendas that were worth $12.00 - $15.00 each and a hard covdred book I ordered from the online book store for $20.00. I also took my phone with me. When I woke up the next morning I was preparing for the park by filling up a water canteen and headed out to walk to the public park. When I got there I noticed a picnic table that was placed underneath a small gazebo and I sat down and pulled the notes out of my bag placing them on the table. The experience of doing some work getting more organized with my to do list was relieved from anxious feelings as the fresh air and cool breeze blew. I couldn’t help but drift away from my notes every so often and enjoy the view of the wind blowing through tall tree leaves. As time past I drank some my water and a clear view of the sun and clouds compared to sitting at a computer desk was rejuvenating. As I concluded my note taking and reading my informative book, the time had reached about 45 min being occupied by these tasks. I realized the time I had spend doing the work at the park had given me a more pleasant and enriching experience when it came to getting something done compared to the regular day at a desk in the home.

Hi, thanks for stopping by!

After university, for a medical course studying the nervous system, I ended up being bedridden in a manageable but life-changing hospital situation. I found myself needing to leave my busy life and appreciate taking time out to do the things I love like reading and writing. I learned to appreciate these things and came across the situation where I would love to blog about the small things that can make your day that much brighter especially when you take the time out for them.
