I was recently in the area I was staying at and going for walks around the block. It was during the summer and I noticed that there was a gazebo like shelter in one of the parks. I thought to myself I was having trouble journaling in the house so I supposed I would take the initiative to try journaling around some nature and get some fresh air. My journal was about 25.00 bought online and I packed a bad with some pens in a case.. I stopped by the coffee shop and picked up an ice coffee fo $4.00 with a muffin for $1.50. I walked with my small bag and my journal to the park and pulled it out at a desk under a shelter. When I began to write I notice there was a large natural space between people at the park and me. It gave me the thought that everyone was enjoying things at the park as a community which was a big diffenece from the busy movement of a house and people in it. The fresh breeze relaxed and the grass field with the occasional large trees inspired me to keep writing and express myself. The environment was cheerful and peaceful even with kids playing in the park running around and laughing together. I had more of a relaxing time to writ with the environment being more in nature. I took sips of my iced coffee and realized it was a good choice to bring something to drink. After about 15 to 20 minnutes I had finished writing my journal entry and felt a more wide open refreshed feeling in the end. It was a world of difference from writing indoors and I felt more inspired to make the effort to write again.

Hi, thanks for stopping by!

After university, for a medical course studying the nervous system, I ended up being bedridden in a manageable but life-changing hospital situation. I found myself needing to leave my busy life and appreciate taking time out to do the things I love like reading and writing. I learned to appreciate these things and came across the situation where I would love to blog about the small things that can make your day that much brighter especially when you take the time out for them.
