Setting a delightful presence in the home that soothes and relaxes

After practising gardening for quite a few months with my budget I had a hard time approaching a more intricate complex plant to have in the home to spruce things up. I had heard that some plants were capable of being cut as saplings from the stem and placed into water to sprout roots and grow. I saw a couple of indoor vine plants in a relative's home and asked if they wouldn't mind cutting off a piece of the plant for me to place in water. Two of the plants were vines and one was almost like a fern. I placed the vines all together in a mason jar of water mixed with sugar so there would be a little food in the water for it to grow. In about 3 weeks all three plants had at least started growing new roots. After a couple of months I figured one of the plants, the fern had enough roots to be placed in a pot I had where the plant wasn't growing anymore. I placed the rooting fern into the flower pot after turning the soil and watered it. The other two vine plants I then moved into their own mason jar each with water and sugar. I then knew as long as the plants in the water kept rooting and the fern in the flower pot was watered I was now someone who inherited three new saplings of some very hard-to-find and somewhat expensive plants. I was excited to start my journey of caring for the plants and now knew with proper care I had come across some affordable house plants.

Hi, thanks for stopping by!

After university, for a medical course studying the nervous system, I ended up being bedridden in a manageable but life-changing hospital situation. I found myself needing to leave my busy life and appreciate taking time out to do the things I love like reading and writing. I learned to appreciate these things and came across the situation where I would love to blog about the small things that can make your day that much brighter especially when you take the time out for them.
